The proposal is for two wind turbine generators which will be located to the south of Kessingland Village, one turbine will be on land within the Africa Alive Wildlife Park, the other on arable farm land to the West of Africa Alive and adjacent to the A12.

Each turbine is proposed to have a generating capacity of 3 Mega Watts, and will be approximately 80m tall to centre of the rotor, with the rotor being 90m diameter.

A Meteorological (Met) Mast is currently in position to provide site specific data.

CURRENT STATUS
Following the submission of a planning application in December 2006, this project was granted consent on May 1st 2008. Further information about the project will follow shortly.
